In the very centre of Boulogne, a former parking lot has been turned into a two-floor self-storage facility. The project is delivered by ADROL. S4S Nordic is proud to be their partner on it.
The site came with a real challenge: a steep slope running down through the building. To keep the first floor perfectly level, the mezzanine beam heights vary across the site and the pillars at one end are 50 cm longer than at the other. It took careful planning and precise installation to keep everything level, strong and aligned.
From the outside the building looks narrow. Inside, it opens up into a bright, spacious facility across 850 m² (425 m² per floor), with 132 storage units and 20 lockers. ADROL also fitted the lighting and sensors.
The bold orange finish against the white unit panels gives the site its character and fits the vibe of the city.
